Ecology with LED

Solutions that bases on LED technology is a milestone for environment. As this technology gained in importance, aspects of lighting design gained a different dimension, which now meets the requirements for: Ecology, Economy, Ergonomics, Efficiency .... To cut a long story short, 4 x E.
Lighting systems that use LED technology consume less energy than traditional light sources, which results in a great reduction of CO2 emissions. Together with this technology, life-cycle of a lamp significantly increased. It results both in less frequent replacements and less wastes. Moreover, it does not contain mercury and therefore can be placed in special covers to facilitate dismantling and recycling. That is why, usage of LED lighting creates preferable conditions for an environmental protection.
Ecology with LED because ...
- environmentally friendly due to the lack of harmful and hazardous substances such as mercury(Hg), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd),
- 100% recyclable- for the construction of LED covers, raw materials are used. They can be reused, eg aluminum, copper and electronic components
- there is no problem of lamps’ disposal, since the LED lamps are electronic structures which may be repaired or modernized
- no harmful UV rays
- a significant reduction in energy consumption, which results in lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions
- low heat emissions- air conditioning does not have to be additionally used for cooling the lamps. Therefore, a reduction in energy consumption is possible
- LED sources can be supplied by renewable energy sources such as wind turbines or photovoltaic cells (PV)
ECONOMICS because ...
- efficiency is 60-90% (depending on the model)in comparison with conventional light sources
- flexible controllability - light intensity can be easily adjusted (additional savings that comes from the usage of an intelligent control systems)
- savings - much higher brightness of LED lamps, in comparison to sodium lamps or traditional industrial or domestic lighting
- stability of parameters - 100% of light output for about 50.000h (12-15 yers)
- reliability - are resistant to vibrations and shocks
- efficiency - illuminate a predetermined and fixed surface
ERGONOMICS and EFFICIENCY because ...
- natural effects - have a color rendering index of almost 100%
- diversity – available in different colors of light, or in case of RGB - up to 16 million colors
- Security - emit a steady light, eliminating the effect of flickering
- lower distortion of light in comparison to sodium halogens
- simple installation of a new lamp or an exchange of HPS/halogen- metal lamp with the LED lamp by replacing the source of
- flexibility - voltage changes up to 20% does not influence on brightness and a life-cycle of a lamp. In standard sodium lamps, a change of 7% deteriorate brightness and life-cycle of a lamp
- ability to work in a range of a constant voltage 24-48 V, as well as grid voltage range 180-230V
